Inspirational photographs
The photographs that follow are not impressions of my other photographer, Mark Sisson, but they are my original photographs that I have inspiration from Mark Sisson's work to create.
The image, shown on the left, is an image I took of a cat that had climbed and lay in a box with little boxes inside. I have cropped the image slightly to a comfortable size and then got rid of the black marks that were on the image. I did the editing on picmonkey.com.
I used Mark Sisson and John Daniels as part of my influence in this image. Mark Sisson because of how his positions his photographs and so, therefore, I took that on board in this image. And John Daniels because he is an animal photographer and captures them in the most unexpected ways. I have chosen this image as one of my inspirational photographs because it looks unique and interesting. |
The image on the right is an image I took of a daffodil and I have cropped the image so that the daffodil is on the left, taking out most of the stuff that was also in the background. I also adjusted the brightness of the image so that it was not too bright. I did all the editing on the picmonkey.com website.
My photographer influence for this image was Mark Sisson because of his nature photographe he took and how he laid them out. I have chosen this as one of my inspirational images because I like how the light brightens the daffodil up from behind. |
The image to the left is an image on a duck on the canal. I have cropped the image to the most appropriate and interesting size and also adjusted the brightness so that it wasn't that dull. I did all the editing on picmonkey.com.
My photographic influence for this image was also Mark Sisson because, again, of the way he lays out his images and how he makes everything position nicely against the background, and so I have taken this into consideration. This is also one of my inspirational photographs because I liked the way that the duck stands out against all of the background colours. |
The image on the right is of a white German Shepherd. I cropped this image so that there was not any distracting pieces on the picture. I also cropped this image because I found that it stood out more when it was in this crop rather than the original image.
My photographer influence for this image was Tim Flach and John Daniels. Both are influences because they are both animal photographers and also because they both think about the way they capture the animal rather than just capture an image of an animal in everyday life and so, therefore, I took in what to do when I did mine. This is also one of my inspirational photographs because I like the way the dogs face is the main focus and the light that shines off his coat compliments the other elements the other characteristics off the image. I also like the image because his brown eyes stand out on the brightness of his white coat. |
The image on the left is an image of a cat sat in front of a wooden trellace. I have cropped this image slightly so that there is not as much going on in the background which could draw the viewers attention away. I have also darkened the coat of the cat as they were white shiny bits all over the cats coat
The photographer influence for this image was Tim Flach as he focuses on animal portraits and also because he doesn't always have the animal looking at the camera which I have also taken on board to make the image look interesting. This is also one of my inspirational photographs because I like the wooden trellace behind the cat and I also like how the cat is not looking straight at the camera like an ordinary image. I also like this image because the cat stands out and there is nothing taking your attention away from the subject. |
